Christ Portuguesa Saddlepad is specially designed for Spanish saddles, Iberian saddles and Baroque saddles. The Portuguesa saddle pad is fully lined and the entire underside is completely made of genuine lambskin with lambswool depth of approx. 30 mm, which minimizes the pressure on the horse's back .

Inserts can be placed inside the integrated pockets for individual customization. Portuguesa saddlebags are supplied as standard without inserts but can be selected.

Portuguesa is a well-tailored and luxurious saddle pad of the highest quality that is anatomically shaped. Lamb wool offers the best possible protection and comfort for your horse. The lamb's wool provides good shock absorption for the horse, provides excellent pressure distribution and maximizes the fit and comfort of the saddle.

Christ Portuguesa has a durable quilted cotton top. The lamb's wool helps reduce sweat and regulates moisture.

Portuguesa saddle pad has extra strong nylon protection at the saddle girth that prevents chafing.

Machine wash with our specially adapted detergent for sheepskin and lamb's wool.

A Swedish study has shown that sheepskin/lamb wool gives the best pressure distribution.
