The Ultra model has a free spinal channel, (no lamb's wool along the channel). This can be an advantage with saddles with a narrow spinal canal but also reduces the protection of the horse's spine.

\nThe lamb's wool on the underside of the Half pad Ultra offers good shock absorption for the horse, provides excellent pressure distribution and maximizes the fit and comfort of the saddle. The upper side has durable quilted cotton with a special pattern. Nylon strap with velcro to attach the half pad to the saddle prevents the saddle pad from slipping. Fits all saddles. \n \nThe lamb's wool helps reduce sweat and regulates moisture.
