Champ Saddlepad is specially designed to fit Werner Christ Basic Plus & Premium Plus bareback saddle / bareback pad . The Werner Christ Champ saddle pad is covered with 20 mm real lamb's wool at the seat area. The lamb's wool minimizes the pressure on the horse's back .
Extra padding for individual customization is possible thanks to the integrated insert pockets. Composite foam inserts specially shaped to fit and mold to the saddle can be inserted on either side of the spine. These are sold in pairs as extra options.

Machine wash with our specially adapted detergent for sheepskin and lamb's wool.
A Swedish study has shown that sheepskin/lamb wool gives the best pressure distribution.
