Werner Christ Horse has its own tannery, which is one of the most modern in the world and provides the best possible conditions for processing the valuable raw material, the lambskin, using a special technology without chemicals. By medically tanning the lambskins, they become washable and can also be put in the tumble dryer. Werner Christ uses only the best raw materials for their products, which they manufacture entirely in-house. They can therefore guarantee a consistently high quality.

Australian merino lamb's wool is used for all Horsedream products as the wool is a bit denser. This provides better pressure distribution and contributes to reducing pressure forces. The leather is also stronger, which ensures that the products are durable and easy to care for.

All lambskins and sheepskins are preserved and sent to their own tannery for further processing. Christ Lammfelle can verify the origin of its sheepskins at any time.

Not a single sheep or lamb is slaughtered for its skin. The fur is a by-product of the butchering process, which is solely to obtain meat.

Lamb's wool's special properties:

Lamb's wool provides a general sense of well-being. It helps you relax and it promotes blood circulation. Lamb's wool provides a natural air cushion between the skin and hide, creating a breathable zone that helps regulate the horse's body temperature in all weathers.

Lamb skin consists entirely of proteins. Protein does not provide a breeding ground for viruses and bacteria. The wool can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling cold
